🧩 Местоимения и притяжательные
Если меняются говорящий/адресат, меняем местоимения: I→he/she, my→his/her, our→their и т.д.
1.“We want our money,” they said → They said they wanted
money.
2.“I've lost my coat,” he said → He said he had lost
coat.
3.“She likes me,” he knew → He knew that she liked

🧩 Согласование времён
Обычный сдвиг: am/is/are→was/were; have/has→had; will→would; can→could; do/does→did.
4.“I'm tired,” Sally said → Sally said she
tired.
5.“I forgot my keys,” he said → He said he
his keys.
6.“I will be in Paris in July,” Ben said → Ben said he
in Paris in July.
🧩 Say / Tell / Ask
tell требует объект (tell me something). say — без объекта (say something to…). ask — вопросы/просьбы.

him whether he needed anything else.
🧩 Косвенные вопросы (Wh-)
Без инверсии и без do/does/did: Where does he live? → …where he lives.
10.“Where does Andrew live?” → He asked where Andrew

11.“What do you want?” → She asked me what I

12.“When can you come?” → I asked when she
come.
🧩 Да/нет вопросы (if / whether)
Для да/нет используем if или whether (+ прямой порядок слов). Оба варианта верны.
13.“Are you British?” → She asked him
he was British.
14.“Do you have a driving licence?” → She asked
he had a driving licence.
15.“Is it your car?” → She asked
it was his car.
